According to the description I am assuming that you might have undergone investigations like thyroid profile and serum prolactin levels with your doctor's advice and they are normal. The other possible factors for your galactorrhea are: - Rarely intrauterine contraceptive devices like Mirena which contain levonorgestrel may lead to galactorrhea by affecting the dopamine levels. - Continuous friction on the nipple and areola due to the tight fitted clothes or frequently checking for the discharge can also lead to secretion and its persistence.
The possible factors that can help you are: clinical examination and investigations like serum prolactin levels, serum dopamine levels and sonomammography can help to find out the possible cause of the problem. In case of abnormal dopamine levels dopamine agonists can help in treating the problem. So, please discuss these things with your doctor and proceed accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
