I have been experiencing a lot of abdominal pain. About 5 years now steadily increasing...along with bouts of diareha and constipation then normal a few days....ER visits doctors, tests including endoscopy and colonoscopy...This pat week has been the worse and I passed out due to pain and low blood pressure . Admitted overnight....b/p stable....released. I have a appointment with a GI specialists. What questions should I ask to get to the bottom of the problem....gall bladder gone.

Hi.
Your problem is for 5 years and is intermittent. I hope by this time you must have been given all sort of medicines and you have undergone endoscopies too.

You may ask, whether this is irritable bowel syndrome? Can you go ahead with further investigations like CT scan of the abdomen and may be a test called enteroclysis? Request your GI Doctor to go for any tests which may lead to a definite diagnosis so that you can have a definite treatment and chance of cure.
