What Causes Fever With Lower Back Pain, Headache And Sore Ear/

my 11 year old son had a 102.5 fever for 2 days, lessening to 100 with motrin, lower back pain on his spine, headache. Symptoms seem to get better for a few days, but seemed tired, fever came back for a day with a sore ear. Currently he is falling asleep 2 hours earlier than normal and seems to have no energy during the day. This started 6 days ago. He says he is ok, but he doesn't seem himself.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi..fever with body ache is likely to occur in flu like illness. If the fever is responding to the medicine then there is no need to worry .Such fever is associated with lethargy and weakness. I think you should just give adequate fluids and feeding. For fever only paracetamol is needed at present. It will subside. Don't worry.
