What Causes Flatulence And Pressure On Chest?

I have cough for about 3 months and sometimes I feel heartbeat very fast or uncomfortable on my chest. Also when I take slightly more food, I tend to burp and feel that the gas on the stomach is pushing up and I start coughing. Would like to know what is the cause or should I go x-ray my lungs and stomach?

Hi,

Symptom of cough for more than three weeks needs to be taken seriously and ideally it has to be brought for investigation. First test is x-ray chest, and then comes routine blood test, it is all to rule out the possibility of microbacterium infection and allergic condition.

Beside, this cough symptom also needs to be looked for cardiac and renal disease. Step-by-step tests should be done for correct diagnosis. Any symptomatic medicine, which suppress the cough need to be avoided as long as it is possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
