What Causes Frequent Vomiting After Laparoscopic Assisted Cardiomyotomy?
Hello, I would explain that the repeated vomiting could be related to an oesophagal irritation or gastro-oesophageal reflux, also related to the achalasia. For this reason, I would recommend taking metoclopramide for nausea and vomiting and a PPI (Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, etc.) in the next days. If the problem persists, consult with a gastroenterologist may be needed. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
