What Causes Hard Red Skin When Diagnosed With Varicose Veins?
I normally have a varicose vein in my leg that is very noticeable, but that in the last two days has gone flat so that it cant be seen. The area has gone painful to touch and is very hard beneath my skin. It throbs when I first stand and the area of skin looks red and in the last two days the area of redness is getting bigger. Any advice?
Respected Sir, hi it`s the signs of inflammation involving the local part of the area. presently at home you can apply ice for 3-4 times a day and can take analgesics to get relief from the pain temporarily mor and eve after meals; but above all these I strongly recommend you to immediately show this to your family doctor as it`s developing you can be cured by proper antibiotics and antiinflammatory agents which you have to get prescribed by him/her. else if you delay and it turns into abscess or further complication you might end up in surgery, so better to have 1st option then second one. thanks regards bye wishing you speedy fast recovery.
