Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Headache, droopy Eyes And Tiredness In The Morning?
Hi. I wake up almost everyday with headaches, droopy eyes and very tired. Like i never slept at all. Getting out of bed is always a hassle. I do suffer from acute fatigue and I wonder if this is the reason or if it seems like its time to worry about going to the hospital.
Hi! I read carefully your query. If I were your treating doctor I would first rule out some conditions that can give these symptoms. -The first thing I would rule out a thyroid problem because Hypothyroidism cause exactly these symptoms you are having (fatigue, drowsiness, headache, etc). In this case the diagnosis is confirmed by doing a blood test measuring TSH,fT4,fT3. If your TSH is high and your fT3,fT4 are low you have Hypothyroidism and you need to take e treatment.
- Second I would perform a complete blood test to rule out an anemia (In this case your Hb would be under 12 mg/dl)
I suggest you to see a doctor so he can perform a physical examination, blood tests searching for the right cause.
Hope I was able to help you. Wish you good health.
