What Causes Heart Palpitations Along With Pain In Wisdom Tooth?
I'm currently experiencing frequent heart palpitations for 8 days now. A few days ago my wisdom tooth started hurting and is at the point now where I just want it out! Could the two be related? I do not have a heart problem. I'm a 54 year old woman and I have diabetes type II and on insulin. Thank you for your assistance, Margaret
Hi madam..since you are a type2 diabetic aging 54 there is high chances acquiring dental infections due to supressed immunity in a diabetic state.palpitattions can be because of various reasons.but the most important in your case is rule out INFECTIONS OF HEART-INFECTIVE ENDOCARDITIS SECONDARY TO DENTAL INFECTIONS.YOUR CASE HAS TO BE APPROACHED CAREFULLY AND AGGRESSIVELY WITH ASSESMENT OF YOUR HEART BY 2D ECHOCARDIOGRAM OF HEART.....YOU ALSO NEED TIMELY TREATMENT BY YOUR DENTAL SURGEON TO PREVENT SPREAD OF DENTAL INFECTION.ALSO YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS IN TIGHT CONTROL.KEEP TRACK OF YOUR BLLOD LIPID LEVELS AS WELL.CONSULT YOUR CARDIOLOGIST FOR FURTHER TREATMEMT OPTIONS.THANK YOU
