What Causes High WBC, Stomach Pain And Bloody Stools?
I have been told that I have a very high White Blood Cell Count today. I have had bloody stools off and on for the past 2 weeks and extreme stomach and intestinal spasms, very painful. I started new meds a month ago for pain for 5 bulging back discs and I think they are bothering my stomach. Doctor wants me to stop the meds, which I agree but not give me anything for pain. I am very worried about the high WBC count and the stomach and intestine pain and the passing of blood. What could this be?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, increased white cell in blood count could be sign of infection but it needs to be correlate with the clinical symptoms that the patient have, you have not mentioned here the total count numbers some time it may not be significant, but the most important is clinical symptoms, here in your case the clinical symptoms seems to be insignificant and may demands the further investigations instead of medicines hope this information helps.
