What Causes High Cholesterol And Triglycerides?
hello. I am a 32 years old female with high cholesterol, low good cholesterol, high triglycerides and I m on levity for my thyroid. I have not had a period since January and neither my regular doctor nor my gynecologist can figure out why. I started 10 mg of lipitor about 4 days ago and the morning after I took the first pull i started to bleed vaginally. I missed a pill 2 nights ago and the bleeding stopped until this morning (I took the pill last night). Can the medication make u bleed as a side effect? my period normally only lasts 3-4 days but this bleeding was really heavy so I figured it was because I went months without it. My hormone levels are normal but my thyroid medication needs to get adjusted cause the levels are up to 400 again.

Lipitor has no direct relation with vaginal bleed, but in combination with many other drugs it may. So please discuss with your doctor if you are taking any other medicines. If you are worried about the side effects of this medicine you can try another one that is more safer than lipitor.
