What Causes High Levels Of Bilirubin In Blood?
I have been told by my doctor that due to results of some blood test I need to have a scan on my stomach as it is showing signs of serum billirubin please can you explain to me exactly what this is and the cause of it and also what action is likely to follow. I have had the scan and am awaiting the results

high bilirubin include various causes.
common causes are hemolytic anemia, hepatitis, gall stones.
scan may have been advised to rule put the stones and any liver anatomical abnormality.
