Thank you for choosing Health Care Magic

I understand the anxiety that you must be having and I will help you to alleviate it.

I have gone through your question and I feel that your father has an enlarged prostate. I cannot comment on whether this is benign on cancerous. There are a few things that point to this diagnosis. The hesitancy while peeing and incomplete urination point to a block in the passage of urine. Along with this, the colonoscopy and the LSC seem to indicate that you father has a colon cancer. This cancer may have spread to the prostate or vice versa. This will account for the constipation that he is having.

The treatment is dependent on the age and the severity of the cancer. If the cancer is low stage, resection and then chemotherapy and radiotherapy will be the best option. In late stage cancers, treatment is chemotherapy and supportive treatment. In some patients chemotherapy is too painful and if your father is aged(above 65) then it is not always recommended to get surgery done.

You can send me the reports that you have so I can assess the situation better. Also, getting another Doctors opinion will help you make a better decision.

Hope this helps. All the best.
