Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir

Obese individuals with diabetes with the autonomic neuropathy modifications, will experience sleep apnea which needs further evaluation and treatment.

It is common in patient with metabolic syndrome which is also called syndrome x, which is characteristic of diabetes, lipid abnormalities and hypertension.

So dont worry there are so many newer medicines available, but weight loss remains the corner stone in the treatment. control blood pressure at normal.

Hope it is helpful.
Thanks
