What Causes Intermittent Burning Like Abdominal Pain Radiating To Thighs?

I have been experiencing intermittent right sided abdo pain for a few wks with no urinary symptoms or change in bowel habits/vomiting/nausea/wt loss etc I am 54 years old and have a Mirena coil which was changed 18 mths ago. A recent pelvic and vaginal scan in Aug 2011 for similair symptons was normal as were my bloods and CA125. The pain feels like an interntal burning sensation and can radiate down into my right thigh and sometimes my back. Any suggestions?

The treatment will obviously depend upon the diagnosis one gets
