What Causes Itching Ring In Groin Area?
hello doctor.........i have a big ring in my groin area, today only i discovered how large it has become. It constantly keeps itching. the skin has become dull, dry and reddish-white. I am afraid its spreading fast. Can you please help??.......Is it something called jock itch (i got this term while searching for it on google)?

Most probably it will be a fungal infection.
You can try anti fungal ointment initially..Please don't use ointment with steroid combination..
A doctor has to see the lesion ...Steroids will change the picture...
Keep the area dry ..Don't use much of soap over the area..sweating can spread the lesion to other areas....
