What Causes Itchy Hives All Over The Body?

Hives I have changed no soaps or lotions or hair careers products or perfumes. I woke up yesterday with hives all over and they itch bad. I was taking benadryl and that was not helping. Went to hospital last night and they gave me zantac and a steroid and benadryl. They seem to get worse when i get up and move around. What could be causing this and is there anything to make them go away?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be urticaria most probably. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply calamine lotion on the lesions and to take a course of antihistamines like Fexofenadine 180 mg. Avoid the food stuff responsible for the lesions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
