What Causes Itchy Raised Bumps After Scratching Middle Of Head?

I sometimes get itchy rasiedbumps after scratching. They come in the middle of my head. I left it alone a few weeks and felt irritating scab. Today scab was less raised and I pulled it off. It feels fine but I noticed this little whiteish crust had a spot that looked like an ant or bug. could this be from dust around or the infection in my body from open varicose wounds that have healed at this time?

Hi,

It may be scalp prurigo most probably. It may be exacerbated by tension. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Take antihistaminics like cetirizine. Take a tapering course of oral steroid for a few weeks under observation of a doctor. Apply mild steroid lotion. Cleanse the scalp with Savlon liquid.
