What Causes Itchy Skin All Over The Body With Hives After An Intercourse?
hi there just have a quick question, I had unprotected sex with a random the other day I have really itchy skin all over especially after shower, sometimes get hives when i scratch too much, comes and goes all day its very irratating. years ago i had the same issue turns out I had clamydia and took zithromax to cure any ideas or am I worrying too much

I will suggest a possibility of cholinergic urticaria.
Cholinergic urticaria presents as itchy, hives in response to rise in core body temperature which acts as a trigger.
The hives in cholinergic urticaris are classically of small size and are monomorphic.
Physical exercise, hot showers, spicy food, strong emotions like anger etc may all cause a rise in core body temperature triggering an episode of cholinergic urticaria.
The condition is usually chronic and may recur; treatment is symptomatic.
Apart from avoiding triggering factors a single dose of an Oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg once daily is usually sufficient.
Topically you may use a soothing lotion e.g calamine to calm down the rashes.

Chlamydial infection is not characterized by development of hives all over the body.
Development of hives all over the body after shower suggests allergic reaction and not chlamydial infection.
Development of hives requires symptomatic treatment like anti-histaminic drugs.
Chlamydia infection is characterized by discharge, fever, etc.
