What Causes Leg Pain When Suffering From Diabetes?
have been taking anastrozole for a little less than a year have chronic pain normally however am having leg pain that never happened before. am diabetic but feet have been much more painful than before. also have pain on urination. I just recently looked up anastrozole and saw it causes all kinds of leg pain and even pain on urination. am I right to think I m having side effects from the pill?
The leg pains are more likely due to damage to nerves as a diabetic complication (called diabetic neuropathy). Drugs, such as, gabapentin, Pregabanyl and Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) supplements will relieve the leg pains.
Further, BOTH : anastrozole, as well as, diabetes increase the predisposition to develop urinary tract infection. Get your urine examination done to confirm infection. A course of suitable antibiotic will cure the infection.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order urine tests and will prescribe the advised drugs in appropriate doses.
