What Causes Lightheadedness, Dizziness And Extreme Sweat?
My husband has twice passed out and felt lightheaded & dizzy & sweaty. We had to call the ambulance but they came up with nothing. He is type 2 diabetic well controlled & takes meds for Hypertension but it is well controlled also. He is 84 and apparently very healthy.

I guess your husband also taking anti diabetic treatment.
What you are telling are the feature if hypoglycemia.
May be he takes the drug but does not eat any thing whs leads to hypoglycemea ( low sugar)
It is very common in day to day practice
So please monitor the glucose level and made a balence with diet and antidibetic drugs.
