hi i am a 42 year old female and have just been diagnosed with a svt with aberrent (rbbb)pattern my pulse is between 35-43 and my blood pressure is usually 90/60 and am currently on carvedilol 3.125mgs twice a day and am waiting for an angiagram do you have any ideas what is wrong
Usually in SVT heart rate will be more than 160 with narrow complex tachycardia. But in your case, you didn't mention heart rate, mentioned pulse rate which may be lower than heart rate.
So you have pulse deficit seen in arrhythmia need to consult your Cardiologist immediately he will examine and treat you with drugs like adenosine or beta blocker.
Sometimes need ICU admission and cardioversion. I think I answered your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
