What Causes Lower Back Pain?

Hello, I have had lower back pain for months now. It is down in my lower, lower back, almost above my rear end. Some days it is worst than others, some days I cannot even get up from a chair, then others it does not feel as bad. I had x ray mri, nothing shows... I took steroids for awhile and they helped, but the pain came back..

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. As your MRI and x ray are normal. Most likely cause of backache is weakness of muscles and deficiency of vitamins and trace elements. You are likely to be benefitted by back excercises and supplements of vitamin and trace elements. You can get your vitamin D level as vitamin D deficiency is important cause of backache and if found low it can be supplemented by vitamin D3.You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
