What Causes Lumpiness Around A Dog Bite After Taking Tetanus?
Hello-I am a 32 year old male, 6 foot 3 300lbs who was bitten by a dog (unprovoked) almost 3 weeks ago. The doctor classified it as a punctured bite. It is healing and has scabbed over, but I just noticed that there is some lumpiness all around the bite. I am taking antibiotics, had my tetanus shot and take ibuprofen for the pain. What could the lumpiness beneath the skin around the affected area be? (All is dry and no discoloration is present).

This could be a overgrow granulation tissue this is happens some time in case of wound healing and this will go away soon, according to some study this happens due to the antibiotic, now stop taking all the medicine the lump will go away nothing to worry about it have nice day.
