I've been suffering from migraines for a while now, but I was really uneasy a few days ago when it was accompanied with a metallic taste and the smell of cleaner... The smell and taste subsided after a few hours but it concerned me.... Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The metallic taste could be because of the use of certain drugs like metronidazole. antihypertensives like lisinopril, fosinopril, enalapril, trandolapril, quinapril and ramipril. Anticancer drugs and antihistamines can also cause metallic taste. The metallic taste should return back to normal after stopping the medicines, it might take maximum of two weeks. If it does not subside then you consult a oral physician. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
