My mother was detected uterus endometrium stage 1c based on MRI. Hystroscopy was done but with vain as the probe could not penetrate through. So a total radical hysterectomy was done. From the specimen, the biopsy report confirmed the malignancy as Stage 2A-1C. Biopsy report also says that no nodes were affected. She was recovering from that surgery. Suddenly she got a pain on her right leg thigh and she was not able to walk. It was detected that she suffered a hipbone fracture. To identify the cause pet ct scan was done and it shows traces of metastatis on the pelvic bone,on few vertebrae of the spinal etc. To mobilise her a hip replacement surgery was done and the ball and socket is replaced. Bone is sent for biopsy and the result is yet to come. What could be the cause for this and what is the suggested treatment plan. My mother is 65 years old.
