What Causes Nausea After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pill?
I had sex with my boyfriend on the night of April 16th and the condom broke, then April 17th (not even 24 hours later) I got myway emergency contraceptive pill and took it. Around 4 or 5 days later I got bleeding from the pill but it didn t seem to last long. Then my expected period was April 30th and it came. I had it for probably 6 days. Does it sound like I don t have anything to worry about? It is May 24th and I woke up at 4am because of my dog, but then I felt a little nauseous. It could be from food I ate or anxiety (because I haven t stopped freaking out) but I m hoping it s not any symptom. I am freaking out. My next expected period is may 28th
It is very easy to rule out pregnancy, buy an over the counter pregnancy test and if the emergency contraception didn't work the test would be positive at this point.
If it is negative and you don't start your cycle at the regular time I would re test for pregnancy. If it is negative and your cycle doesn't come you need to see your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
