What Causes Nausea And Lack Of Appetite After Taking Chemotherapy?
My mom was diganosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She had her surgery and all cancer was succesfully removed. She is on chemo now. She did her first round last Wed. Its Wed of the next week today and she is very sick. Weak, nausea, lack of appetite, etc. We think it may be a stomach bug that is going around. Could this possibly still be effects from, chemo, she handled chemo great the first 4 months she had it before her surgery. These chemo treatments are the same. Im really worried...

patient symptoms are indicating Drug Induced Liver Injury due to chemotherapy. However, further evaluation - blood tests - may give a better picture.
Liver function test and Blood Routine Test are recommended.
results maybe discussed with treating physician and further course of action maybe advised accordingly.
