What Causes Nausea, Stomach Discomfort And Delayed Periods After Taking Cipralex?
hello, i took around 100 mg cipralex and have been treated in hospital for 2 and half days with fluid, by the day of release i was feeling ok, but now i feel sick in my stomach, i have nausea but i cant vomit.. what should i do? and does it affect menstrual cycle at all, because normally within last few day my menstruation should have started, which is not the case right now.. I need your help and opion as as possible.. thanx!!!
Anti-depressants can cause menstrual disorders like painful cramps, heavy bleeding, or missed periods as side effect. Serotonin levels which become higher during the drug intake can affect other hormones like prolactin and cause delayed bleeding in some women. Irregular or delayed periods may continue for first 3 months of drug use. In case of prolonged symptoms for more than 3 months,a direct clinical examination may be required.
