What Causes Nausea, Vomiting And Low Urination?

My husband is very ill. It started last night with vertigo or dizziness. He was so badly nauseous he vomited. He couldn t turn his head without nausea. He vomited to the point of dry heaves. He sat reclined in a chair all day. He drank a little water, coffee and 7 up and had a small cup of soup, some applesauce and toast. He hasn t urinated since last night. He feels terrible.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
There are many causes of nausea vomiting and dizziness; most important of all are gastritic infections and vestibular diseases.
His low urination could be due to volume loss due to vomitings and poor feeding.
He is better taken to a physician and investigated further for best outcome.
All the best.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your husband and I would like to say you that because of the vomiting he has lost the fluids then the urine out put may be less and this is nothing to worry with the correction of fluid volume in body this would come around, take care and have a nice day.
