What Causes Nausea While On Contraceptive Pills?

Hello, I have recently started taking the contraceptive pill last month and as I have been getting nausea from it my doctor advised me to switch to a different one, however due to the switch I am not having the 7 day break , should I still get my period or will it come next month when I have my break?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

All tablets cause some form of nausea commonly. Why don't you use different type of contraceptive altogether.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
