What Causes Needle Pricking Type Pain In Stomach?

I am a man. I feel some iritating pain on my sides of the stomach. the pain sounds like is ciming from not the stomach, but the skin or flesh around the stomach. i feel like its a tiny needle that is continuously prickling me very fast but not very hard. what could be the problem here?
