What Causes Numbness In Toes After Tibia Fracture And Torn ACL?

I had an impact fracture of my tibia 7 months ago and 3 months ago it was discovered that I also have torn my ACL; my toes have been numb since the injury and is not getting better, is this normal? I am having surgery in a few weeks to repair the ACL.
