I m currently suffering with open sores on my back which itch very bad. Some have closed up but others will pop and continue the process. They all start like a blister and go from there. Been happening for about a month went to a doctor but that didn t help all she did was freeze off some moles. The sores about the size of a dime.
As per your case history of sores on back, my treatment advice is:
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
