Hello,
Since you are having pain on taking food containing wheat, avoid taking it. You are either having
wheat allergy,
gluten sensitivity or
celiac disease. You are suggested to take wheat free diet (
gluten free diet). Check the label, 'gluten free' before buying food items. You can take brown rice, buckwheat, millet, oats, apples, banana, berries, peaches, carrots, beans, bell peppers, legumes (peas, lentils, beans), nuts and seeds, red meat, poultry, butter, ghee, cheese, yogurt, etc.
You should avoid flavored yogurt, processed cheese, frozen products, packaged food items, ready to eat products, dried, frozen or canned products. Avoid wheat, rye, barley. Stay away from addictions if any. Since you had
liver problem, take food that is easily digestible in small amounts multiple times a day. Take boiled food for a couple of days to avoid
bloating and pain. Take digestives and appetizers. Avoid oily, fatty food.
You can take antacids and PPIs, one SOS when needed, hope I have answered your question, take care. You should get tests and investigations done to rule out celiac disease. This is to stay on the safer side.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
