I am a 58yr. old pmp female. I have been experiencing severe headaches which seem to be brought on by hyperextending my neck during sleep. I am awakened with pain in the back of my head and down the back of my neck. It is frequently accompanied with throbbing (heart beat sound) in my ears. Recently, I've noticed a creaking sound in my ears after the headache is over. I have a history of migraine headaches in my 30-40's. This feels different. What's going on?
