What Causes Pain In The Chest When Sneezed?

I had a car wreck 2 weeks ago. I went to the hospital the day i had my wreck and they x-rayed my chest but said nothing was broken. My chest kept getting worse so I went to my personal Doc and they done an other chest x-ray and they also said nothing was broken. The pain is under my left brest and before it hurt when I laughed, coughed or sneezed. Now it is much worse and hurts to even move. It feels like someone is stabbing me in the lung and heart area. What should I do?

Xray done will pick up any bone lesion that might have occurred during the car wreck. . With what you are suggesting and based on the findings of the Xray(as told by you to be normal) it seems more likely that it's a soft tissue injury like a cartilage or muscle.. Treatment advised would be Analgesics like paracetamol or ibuprofen as when the symptoms worsens.. if symptoms persists Mri of the thoracic cage would suffice to find out any abnormality. .
