What Causes Pain In Upper Right Arm And Between Shoulder Blades?

I am a 65 year old woman, 5 2 175lbs and nonsmoker. I had pain in my upper right arm. It moved to the back, in between the shoulder blades. The pain is unbearable and now I am seeing localized bruising in two areas on my lower right arm. The only thing that 70% helps is a cold pack on my back, but it is still painful. What do I have?
