What Causes Painful Swelling In Knee With History Of Arthritis In Knee?

about 4 years ago they told me i have arthritis in my knee, i tore my meniscus and have a cyst in my right knee....recently ive been in alot of pain, my knee is swelled...it hurts when i drive, when i walk my knee gives out, hurts to walk and stand. should i see a doctor?

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an Orthopedic surgeon.

An X - Ray of the concerned knee, both AP and Lateral view will help in planning for further management.

You can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with serratipeptidase and Omeprazole 40mg once a day.
Give proper rest to your knee.Tying a tubular bandage or crepe bandage will help.
