What Causes Palpitations And Hyper Ventilation?
The last 48 hours I have been having palpitations just below my left ribcage and hyperventilation. I struggle to get a deep breath, finally get one and that relieves the palpitations for a while. then the palpitations build again ad the cycle repeats. Should I get to a doctor?

unexplained palpitations that too intermittent can be due to various reasons.
can be due to anxiety neurosis,electrolyte imbalance,cardiac related,anaemia, drug induced, usually bronchodilators or sometimes idiopathic.
please go for an ecg & cardiac opinion, if these are normal,please rule out for the other causes.
