What Causes Pulsating Noise In Upper Left Abdomen When Stomach Is Empty?

Hi, i am having pulsating noise in my upper left side abdomen when my stomach is empty. Noises can be when i take a deep breath. Earlier it was accompanied by dull ache near the ribs, however that has subsided. Can someone advice what further action should be taken
