What Causes Raw/swollen Upper And Bottom Lip When Using Eos Chapstick?
the other day i had a bump on the inside of my upper lip & I thought it was a canker sore but today my whole upper lip & bottom lip are raw & swollen. I've been using Eos Chapstick & maybe that has something to do with it but my lips hurts & I have no idea what's the problem.
From the description that you have provided , there are two possibilities that I can think of . Either you have developed an allergic skin reaction to the use of the moisturiser that you are using. Or you may have developed a viral infection of the lips which is herpetic infection. Either of these can present with swelling and pain in lips with development of raw areas. I would advise you to stop application of the lip balm that you are using. You should keep the affected area clean and dry. See a nearby dermatologist to look for the exact cause so that proper and timely treatment can be started.
Hope it helps
