Hello, two months ago, my one year old baby had a huge boil on his forehead which later was treated as facial cellulitis and sepsis due to its severity. A huge bump has just showed up on his head. What could be the cause of the recurrenrent boil and how can it be treated completely?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

If his previous blood workup is normal there seems to be no cause for concern.
Boils are usually due to staphylococcus, nasal carrier state could be one of the important cause for recurrent boils. Also rare possibility of immunodeficiency has to be ruled out.

Take care
