What Causes Salty Taste In Mouth?

over the past few months I have this salty taste in the mouth coming from the back of my tongue. even after brushing my teeth thoroughly and using mouthwash the taste comes back no matter how many times I brush my teeth. I eat a normal diet and drink enough water.
