What Causes Sciatic Pain In Leg And Blood In Stool?
I have had sciatic paind in my leg for about 12 weeks now and have seen chiropractic care which has helped minimally, then recently I have had blood in my stool, i stopped taking the aleve and excedrin assuming it was the cause but since then the blood amount has actually INCREASED
Sciatic pain usually occurs from underlying nerve compression at lumbar spine level. Blood in stool is a side effect of excluding containing aspirin as one of the content inside, giving erosive effect over intestine mucosa. In our hospital, we recommend x-ray L-S spine, colonoscopy for further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
