What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain That Hurts To Touch?
I have had severe abdominal pain for a week along with nausea and some vomiting. I thought i had a UTI because i had burning when i urinated so i got antibiotics wich cured that part. Now the pain is still here and my stomach hurts to the touch. What do you think it is?
Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
You have not mentioned about the location of abdomen which hurts. In case it is the right lower quadrant, I would advise you to visit the nearest ER or a general surgeon in your area to rule out any chances of appendicitis or any other cause of a surgical abdomen.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
