What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain With Headaches?

Hi, for about 2 years I have gotten 4 very severe bouts of stomach pain(not cramps) and multiple episodes with less severe pain but still very uncomfortable. Sometimes accompanies by diarrea but not always. Always accompanied by headache. I am 44 and athletic..moderate drinker and occasional smoker

thanks for asking
as you have given a very lucid history you are probably suffering from chronic gastritis..........i would like to suggest some baseline investigations like full blood count,urea breath test,serum amylase and possibly an oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) to confirm the diagnosis.........
then you can take

1) antacid syrup

2) cap omeprazole 40 mg for 4weeks

3) tablet itopride 50 mg twice daily


you should consult a gastroentrologist
