What Causes Severe Abdominal Pains From Pelvic Area To Chest?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my daughter is 14 and has been having severe adominal pain that seems to move about her lower pelvic area and up into her chest for about 6 months now, we have had blood tests which all came back normal. We have also went as far to have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy, do you have any ideas on what may be causing this pain?

Hi, welcome to HCM,
First of all I would like to know that if your daughter gets stressed on small things or something bothering her psycologicaly.
As when no cause of pain is known despite of undergoing different investigations. It can be functional pain which is common in teens because of stress and anxiety.
You may try symptomatic treatment for few days for example tab esmoprazole 10 mg two times a day.start exercising, avoid spicy and heavy food. And may need counselling if she is going through some stressfull situation.
Regards,
