What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Chest Pain?
Hi, My husband has been experiencing shortness of breath and chest and neck pain. He was taken to energency at the hospital. ECG blood tests, xray of his lungs and an echo was done and all was well. The doctor treated him for Acid reflux (nexium). Thisas six months ago. Now the symptoms are back but worst.

Acid reflux disease can recur especially if triggered by stress and poor lifestyle habits. Although having chest pain and shortness of breath warrants that each time such an episode occurs ECG, blood tests need to be repeated cause we dont want to miss out on more serious problem.
Try giving your husband some antacid available over the counter, but do not wait for too long. Visit a cardiologist who can rerun some tests and make sure that nothing else is wrong and if required restart the reflux medicines.
