What Causes Shortness Of Breath?
hi there, i have been very short of breath and needing to take a deep breathe roughly every minute, i also feel like i have phlegm in my throat and chest, what could be the cause of this and what medication can i take? i have tried mucinex and am still short of breath

Hi dear.This might be due to mucus plugs and secretions which are blocking your airway.I were to check oxygen saturation, do chest X-ray.Since you are not improving with mucinex I were to do nebulization should dissolve these secretions so that they can be easily coughed out.Suggest to meet your MD so that the treatment can be started early before it causes further damage to your lungs.Hope this answers you query.
