Hi I'm 13, 120 lbs, and I'm 5'8. Sometimes I have trouble breathing. It's like I have to take really deep breaths to get enough oxygen. It only lasts for about 5-10 minutes, then it goes away. I also snore at night. I would just like to know what this could be.
The snoring at night may be related to adenoids in some persons. This can be assessed by an ENT doctor.
If you are having shortness of breath then you should ask your parents or guardians to take you to your doctor for assessment. Shortness of breath can be related to different possible causes such as anemia, lung or heart disease, anxiety, exertion.
Your doctor would be able to determine the likely cause based on your history, physical examinations and , if needed, investigations.
I hope this helps
